Pure silk is always best to be worn skimming the body and all Apanuma garments are sized accordingly. In the sizing measurements, the first measurement is the ring's side-to-side inner diameter, and the second one is the inner diameter where the sensor bump is.įWIW I have been using the Gen2 Size 12 for a bit now and it sometimes feels a bit loose (washing hands, cold weather, etc.) so I ordered the Gen3 Size 11.Anupamaa garments are free flowing and not slim fit. Size 9: 2.57 mm on sides, 2.97 mm on “top”.Size 8: 2.60 mm on sides, 2.98 mm on “top”.The most commonly purchased men’s rings range between size 8 to 10-½. Size 7: 2.62 mm on sides, 2.95 mm on “top” The average ring size available for men ranges from size 6 to size 13.Size 6: 2.59 mm on sides, 2.96 mm on “top”.But, more noticeable is that the thickness on the sides is consistently less than the thickness on the “top” (the knuckle side of your hand). These two measurements are slightly variable by size. (Personally, I hope they go to "14" at some point as I can still only get one for my pinky.) (The top probably won't matter for the actual ring as it varies based on design.) Not much has changed - 0.05 or so variation, which could be tool or user error. I also did two thickness measures, as the thickness of the "top" (knuckle side) is thicker than on the sides. This printable guide serves as a reference, but for more. The wider the band, the tighter it may feel. If the ring falls between two sizes, order the larger size. The measurements shown refer to the inside diameter of the ring. So, I repeated all these measurements for the Gen 3 (including size 13). Match the inside of the ring to the circle nearest in size. (FWIW my Gen 2 size 12 is 21.61mm inner diameter side-to-side and 19.92mm top-to-sensorbump.) Now upgrading to Gen 3 and I just got the Gen 3 Sizing kit. It let me get my size and order a ring without waiting on a sizing kit. Thanks for doing this! I found this really helpful to check on some 3d printed sizing rings (made with files I downloaded from thingiverse). These methods require our Ring Sizer & Conversion Chart. The size 7 measurements and the size 7 ring that I had were pretty close, but the ring I received was a little bit smaller (17.60 mm vs. Measuring an existing ring to determine a size that already fits. Also this is just the sizing kit I got, I suppose some of it may vary from kit to kit depending on the manufacture process. In the sizing measurements, the first measurement is the ring's inner diameter, the second one is the inner diameter where the sensor bump is.Īs you can tell, the Oura ring sizes don't really reflect true US ring sizes. These two measurements are about the same with all the rings, regardless of size.
